Debuted in September 2011 as part of Bernhardt Design's contract furniture line, Apel is a family of ottomans born out of a desire to support and maximize the organic and spontaneous interactions between people. Stylistically versatile, highly customizable, and adaptable to a multitude of commercial and residential environments, Apel can be grouped and configured into various "clusters", with landscape formats serving as hubs or "planets" and small formats with optional casters as mobile "satellites".
