Danish Modern Arne Vodder for Sibast Mobler Teak Drop-Leaf Desk (Reversible Cabinet)

A striking and functional design by Danish master Arne Vodder for Sibast Mobler. This rare teak desk features a sculptural form with a floating drawer cabinet and an innovative drop-leaf mechanism. The hanging drawer unit glides effortlessly along a track, allowing the user to position it on either side for left- or right-handed use. The drop-leaf is suspended on discreet hooks and can be raised to expand the work surface; the entire top then shifts laterally on its track to align. The drop leaf can be removed easily to store away as well. 

Crafted in beautifully aged teak, the desk exudes warmth and elegance with its original glowing patina. The design balances minimalism with utility, offering a distinctive silhouette that feels both timeless and modern. Desk is lightly refinished and in good vintage condition. Some light scuffs and wear here and there.
