vintage Artek Aalto Stool 60 (Price per)

Through experiments in wood bending, Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto developed and patented a technique for cutting and steaming birchwood to make it more malleable. This process led to the Aalto Stool 60 (1933), a small, stackable stool with an L-leg, which Aalto referred to as “the little sister of the architectural column." Made in Finland.

This example is a vintage piece from 1980's. In good overall condition with some light scuffs, wear, and patina. Two available. Price is per.
